Baker and I have been living in Wilmington, NC since the beginning of March and we are absolutely loving beach living! We have moved to the beach to be closer to my sisters and to Baker's sweet little cousins. I have seen an amazing amount of growth in my sweet peanut. He has the most charming little preschool and is getting ready to start his Summer Session next week. He receives PT/OT and Speech Therapy at his preschool throughout the school year and I am working on getting him set up during the summer. My little superman is rocking his Croc and even tries to push it with one hand while he holds his elmo in the other. He has made some precious friends there and they all look after Baker. He walks through the halls blowing kisses and waving to everyone, he is just the friendliest little creature in the whole world.
They always say that being around other children is the BEST therapy. Well, whoever "they" are...is definitely right. Baker claps his hands every time his cousins walk through the door and is having the absolute time of his life! Baker is starting to stand independently for moments at a time and he is growing like a weed. We have been lucky to live across the street from my twin for the last few months and it has been so amazing! My sisters have been such an amazing help and I am so happy to be living so close. We picked the perfect time to move to the beach, it is perfect here!! We love our friends and couldn't be happier.
Baker got casted for some new Magic Shoes this morning and we hope to get those in the next 6-8 weeks. It is quite a process, they cast his cute little legs and feet and create a custom-made brace. We are getting a new type of brace, so I am excited to get them on him and see how he does!
