January 15th

Another Saturday night with my cute Husband at Piedmont. We are just hanging out watching the Falcons/Packers game. The Steelers just won an awesome game against the Ravens. My mommie came down to stay with me last night and we had a great girls night. I am pretty sure I am freezing the poor thing to death. I have these leg compression things on and have a zillion pillows around me to prop me up so I am not feeling too "chilly" in my room, so the air conditioning is pumping and my mom has to dress up like a snowman. :-) I also had a great visit from one of my favorite gals, Kaylin yesterday.She brought me lunch from Henri's and we chatted forever and it was such a nice visit. My fantastic in-law's came by last night and we had fun chatting. Big Bill had been stuck in Vegas because of the snow, so it was so good to see him! My sweeet Bill brought us doughnuts and coffee this morning, yum! And he brought some more for the nurses as well...he's so thoughtful. The way to a nurse's heart is through her morning snack! haha!

Dr. Griffiths, from Piedmont Pediatrics, came by on Friday morning. Bill and I had a Meet & Greet scheduled for last week, but we were unable to make it...because I couldn't wheel my bed over to Collier Road. I called them last week to reschedule and just told them that if she happened to be over at Labor and Delivery to pop on by. She came by yesterday at 7:45am and I was so glad I got to meet her. She seems really nice. A lot of my friends take their children there and I have heard wonderful things about the group. I had no questions, because I was dead asleep when she came in...so I think I will have to call her back to chat.

We got our Stroller today and Bill wheeled it into to 288 to show me! It is awesome and we can't wait to push little Bakie around in it. It comes with a Bassinett attachment and a regular stroller seat. You can also snap in the infant car seat onto it, so that it becomes a "Snap-and-Go". I will have to post a pic. We also ordered our crib, so we are just checking things off the list! This on-line shopping thing is great!!

We are doing great and had Dr. Gomez check little one on Thursday afternoon. He is still looking great, but we have had a few heart rate dips here and there. They expect this because of the low fluid levels, but the nurses and doctors are keeping a great eye on us! The 3 of us are going to cheer on the Falcons now...so Until Next Time.. Keep Baking Baker!!
