January 19th

The Australian Open has started, thank the Heavens above. I am now completely busy for the next two weeks. I am having a hard time finding it on early in the day, because of the crazy time change. Well, if I can't sleep in the middle of the night, I have plenty to do. :-) My mom spent MLK day with me and we had so much fun. We..meaning She straightened up #288 and it looks great in here. My mom is getting some good tennis tips as she watches with me. I promised to give her lessons as soon as I am out of here. :-) My sweet little Natalie Pittman came by with her sweet mom, Michelle. I have been teaching Natalie for over 2 years and she brought me some fun girly stuff-magazines, nail polish and gorgeous flowers.

Our Ultrasound went good on Monday...no news is good news. Everything has been pretty consistent and baby's swimming pool was around 6.6. The doctors are still keeping a close eye on his heartrate, but his bloodflow etc stoll looks great. He is so cute, we got the best picture today. You can see his sweet little face. Can't tell yet who he looks like, but bill was holding the pic up to his profile as he looked in the mirror, just to check. Haha! We can't do the fun 3D pics because my fluid is too low, but that makes seeing him when he gets here that much more fun!

Bill spent the night last night and  we watched some great matches on TV.  Roddick and Verdasco won and the matches were really exciting! Venus Williams has the craziest outfit this year that I have ever seen. She looks ridiculous. My tennis gals, Mary Lou and Sherri, came by today and brought me the best muffins and scones from Panera. We had the BEST visit and filled me in on how everyone on the team is doing. Now that Baker might be here a bit earlier, I actually might get to play some Spring ALTA matches. We won the City Championships this past November and have now been moved up to AA2. It's going to be a tough season. I will be a bit rusty, but can't wait to get out there! They also brought some valentine candy...you know what that means? My birthday is getting closer and closer! No Birthday trip with my College Besties this year, but we will be ready for the next one. Fo Sho!

I am starting to get a bit more uncomfortable as little one gets bigger, but we are definitely glad he is growing. He is very active in my belly and all of the doctors say that he is certainly a "mover and a shaker". I always think that he is practicing his shagging skills with his "Shag Cord" just like Buzz does on one of my favorite movies, Shag. He's going to be a great dancer when he gets out of here.  Bill is headed over here to work at the hospital because the sweet little thing said he missed me. He sure does know how to make my day. One of my besties, Alli Rosenblatt, is coming by to bring me lunch. She has twin girls and they are the cutest little things! The doctors are taking me off iv fluids for the day until my appointment tomorrow. I have been on continuous monitoring, but am allowed breaks throughout the day, which I look forward to. Me and the monitor have a "love/hate" relationship. I love hearing his heartbeat and being reassured that he is doing great...but it is pretty darn uncomfortable and the gel that we have been using has decided to go to war with my skin...the gel is winning. :-)

Ultrasound tomorrow and can't wait to see how he's doing. We have been on Bedrest 5 weeks tomorrow which is hard to believe, but it is going by super fast! 31 weeks on Friday-Keep Baking, Baker!!!
